Monthly Meeting
Join us for our regular monthly meeting. We always meet on the second Monday of every month, unless it is a stat holiday, then it is the third Monday. These are the backbone of our support to families. This is where you find out what events are coming up and also have a say in what future events we will be creating. Start time is at 7:00 PM and begin with some networking with other families. They are held upstairs in the Meadow Lake Hospital across from Public Health. Childcare is often provided and the coffee is sure to be strong. See you there.
I CAN Games
If your ordinary track meet events don’t leave you feeling pumped up and ready to take on the world, then perhaps the I CAN games are for you! Dorintosh Central School has been hosting an amazing track and field event for students who may need extra supports to get the same kind of enjoyment out of this tradition. Contact your child’s teacher or SSST and inquire how to get them registered. Registrations are typically due one week prior to the event. If you’d like to speak with a family that has experience with the games or have more questions, contact Bluesette Campbell at (306) 236-6105 or Dorintosh Central School at (306)236-3313.
Silver Birch Family Retreat
Our annual retreat gives families the opportunity to carve out time in their busy lives to spend quality time with one another and network with other families. We host a speaker every year that has traveled a similar journey and can shed some light and inspiration. This year’s speaker are authors Arthur Slade and Brenda Baker. Please contact Alicia at Positively Parenting (306-236-4804) to reserve a cabin. Reservations are on a first come-first serve basis so don’t miss out and call right away. There are 8 cabins but camper’s are welcome.

Mom’s Night
This month’s Mom’s Night is hosted by Kim Honeyford and Kylah Masse. They have organized an upcycling “Schwopping” event to be held at the Positively Parenting Board Room on April 30th in the afternoon. Sort through your unwanted items and bring them to exchange with others. The theme is for mom’s so no children’s items please. More details to come. For questions, email Kim at kimwrites@gmail.com.

Easter Party
Celebrate a fun Easter-themed party at Lakeview Elementary. Decorate cookies, find eggs and play!
Sports N Rec Night
Let’s get active! Sports N Rec is an all inclusive event. That means that every PACE family gets to invite a friend or a whole family!!! We usually meet up and recreate in a gym, outside or even at the pool. After breaking a sweat, we always have some snacks and drinks to revitalize. This is a family event (not a drop off) and a really great place to network with other parents. Usually we have a handful of volunteers from the junior high and high school to teach and interact with the kids. Always sure to be a good time!
Family Matinee
Come celebrate inclusion with this fun event! Bring your whole family and your friends too. We book the theatre and show a family friendly film and have the liberty to adjust lights and volume for our sensitivities. No admission fees and concessions are available for purchase. Contact Bluesette at 306-236-6105 for movie details.
